Senior developer fired for insisting their pronouns are "sir/sir"
Miami, FL—After hours of deliberation, the HR department of a large tech company handed the pink slip to a senior developer who had asked to remain anonymous. While most of the employees had adopted and publicly shared a set of regular personal pronouns, the senior developer in question kept insisting that their pronouns "sir/sir" are to be respected as well.
Chances are, The Social Court of Florida will be handling the case of wrongful termination in the upcoming weeks. According to specialists, there are legitimate grounds for the case unless the "sir/sir" pronouns were initially introduced as a racist mockery of software developers of Indian origin.
