WhatsApp considers removing words "Lucifer" and "Soul" from terms of service

Menlo Park, CA—Sources within Facebook report that internal law department recommends updating the Terms of Service for WhatsApp, a popular messaging app. The update should remove mentions of "Lucifer" and "Soul", and generally become more inclusive and open to various cultures.

The ideas of Lucifer, Soul, and sin are very Western-centric. WhatsApp is a global product, we welcome all cultures and spiritual notions. The new ToS should reflect that and explain the idea of selling a soul to everybody, including those who isn't familiar with the Western practice of trading souls for services.
